My Sketching Journey.

Drawing is hard. It's really hard to get into, it's really hard to feel good about and it's really hard to improve on. This blog will change that.

I am a self taught artist who has been drawing all my life. I've come to realise that I'm no good at drawing. There are fundamental art techniques and understandings that can be missed when you don't go to art school. This blog is my attempt at fixing those deficits and becoming a more confident and skilled artist.

I will post to this blog everyday and document my growth as an artist (hopefully). I'll discuss how each exercise felt and how difficult it was. I hope this blog can show that art is a skill that is acquired through hard work and practice, and not something bestowed upon a lucky few.
